3 Ways To Plan Your Social Media Content Using Your Planner
Share
The goal here is consistency.
When it comes to using your planner for social media content, here are some tips to help you with your planning:
Create a daily checklist
Create a daily checklist with each of the platforms you plan to post on. Check them off once the content has been posted. This works best when using either a weekly insert/spread or a daily insert.
Record content ideas
Create a section in your planner where you can record content ideas. Keep this section highlighted through a divider or by using a tab. The easier it is to find, the faster you can record those great ideas! Refer back to it often. Treat it like a brain dump but have a system to record when you have actual used/actioned those ideas!
Use a monthly spread
Use a monthly spread to create an overview of holidays/celebrations/events that could relate to your content. Timeliness is key here. You want to have your ideas & content ready to go for these specific times. Also, keep in mind things like seasonal changes, notable birthdays, and special events happening in your local community. Having content related to those topics is a good idea too!
I hope that these tips help you with your social media and content strategy plans using your planner!
